Cynthia Ann Evans

Mrs. Cynthia Ann Cheek Evans, 61, of Jonesville, NC passed away at Forsyth Medical Center Wednesday, July 10, 2019.  She was born in Surry County April 5, 1958 to the late John Wilson Cheek and Nancy Lou Myers Cheek.  Mrs. Evans was a happy, loving person always wanting the best for everyone.  Choosing to be a donor, she still helped others at her death.  She enjoyed spending time at the beach and also with her family.  She enjoyed collecting antiques and was a wonderful decorator.  Mrs. Evans will be lovingly remembered by her husband Mark Evans; her sons and daughters-in-law, Joshua and Bryony Evans and Jordan and Michelle Evans; one grandson, Kavy Evans; a sister and brother-in-law, Karen and Jimmy Hardy; and her niece Sonya Longworth and husband Christopher and their children, Georgia, Dylan, and Emma; and many special friends.  The family will receive friends at her home on Saturday from 2:00 until 4:00 PM.  There will not be any formal visitation at the funeral home.  Online condolences may be made at www.moodyfuneralservices.com.
