Cynthia Gray Collins Jenkins

Mrs. Cynthia Gray Collins Jenkins, age 49, of Fireside Lane Mt. Airy passed away at her home on Friday morning September 14, 2007. She was born in Surry County on September 4, 1958 to Duke Collins and the late Ima Jeanne Bowman Collins. She was a retired Drapery Maker and was a member of Salem Baptist Church in Dobson. Surviving are her husband Stephen Burton Jenkins of the home; one daughter and son-in-law Julie and Daniel Snow of Dobson; one son Randy Jenkins of Mt. Airy; four grandchildren; her father Duke Collins of Mt. Airy; two sisters Cathy Collins of Winston Salem, Teresa Collins of Elkin; one brother Duke Collins Jr. of Mt. Airy. In addition to her mother she was preceded in death by one son Jason N. Jenkins; two brothers Randall Duke Collins and Christopher K. Collins. Funeral Services will be held 2:00 P.M. Sunday September 16, 2007 at Salem Baptist Church with burial to follow in the Church Cemetery. Rev. Bobby Lewis will officiate the service. The family will receive friends at Salem Baptist Church on Saturday evening from 7 until 9 P.M. Flowers will be accepted or memorials may be made to the Salem Baptist Church Building Fund 430 Rockford Road, Dobson, NC 27017 or to the Mountain Valley Hospice and palliative Care 401 Technology Lane Suite 200, Mt.
