Dale Edgar Moss

Mr. Dale Edgar Moss, 67, of Mt. Airy passed away Saturday, September 11, 2021, at his home. He was born in Surry County on March 10, 1954, to the late William Edgar and Dora Bell Phillips Moss. Mr. Moss was a faithful member of Flippin Memorial Baptist Church. He is survived by his wife, Reta Gayle Pike Moss; a son and daughter-in-law, Roger and Karen Moss; grandchildren, Chad Moss, and Travis Moss; sisters and brothers-in-law, Betty and Jimmy Inman, Mary and Bobby Gwyn, Vickie and Mike Matthews, Glenda and Larry Parker, Frances Winters; special nieces and nephews, Mike Parker, Daniel Hoback, Sue Utt; many other nieces and nephews; special friends, David Marshall and all his church family. In addition to his parents, Mr. Moss was preceded in death by a son, Chad Hicks; a sister, Mildred Moore; brothers, Leon Moss and Michael Moss. A memorial service will be held Friday, September 17, 2021, at 11:00 AM at Flippin Memorial Baptist Church with the Rev. Tim Burton officiating. The family will receive friends Friday from 10:00 until 11:00 AM at the church.
