Dallas Ray Billings

Mr. Dallas Ray Billings age 74 of 152 Quaker Road, Mount Airy, passed away on Friday, November 23, 2007 at his home. Mr. Billings was born in Forsyth County on January 21, 1933 son of the late Rev. Ray Billings and Nancy "Clyde" Maines Billings, he was retired from Wix Filters Company and served in the US Navy for ten years. Surviving are a daughter and son-law, Virginia "Jenny" and Johnny Moser of Lowgap; two grandchildren, Katrina Moser and Caleb Moser and two sisters, Retha Richardson of Mount Airy and Joyce Melcher of Banks, AL. In addition to his parents, Mr. Billings was preceded in death by a brother, James "Jimmy" Franklin Billings. Funeral services will be held Monday November 26, 2007 at 2:00 P.M. at the Moody Funeral Home Chapel in Mt. Airy with services conducted by Rev. Bailey Elmore with burial to follow in the Skyline Memory Gardens with full military rites conducted by the VFW memorial honor guard Mt. Airy Post 2019 and Pilot Mountain Post 9436.
