Dallas Lee Corder

Mr. Dallas Lee Corder, age 80, of Dobson, passed away Tuesday, December 4, 2018 at the Joan and Howard Woltz Hospice Home in Dobson. He was born May 5, 1938 in Surry County to the late Jesse Roscoe and Isabelle Tolbert Corder. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son, Ricky Lee Corder; his brothers, Delmer Corder and Otis Atkins and his sister, Alma Corder Law.  Mr. Corder is survived by his loving wife, Joyce Ann Stanley Corder; daughter and son-in-law, Darlene Corder and Richard Darrell Casstevens; daughter-in-law, Angela Dawn Cockerham; grandchildren, Lee Aaron Corder, Alicia Dawn Corder (Russ) Ashley, Christina Darlene Casstevens (Tony) Santarelli and Bethany Kay Casstevens (Mason) Tilley; great grandchildren, Kaylee Sue Tilley, Evelyn Darryl Tilley and soon to be, baby boy Santarelli; a sister, Annabelle Corder Whitaker; and a special friend and caregiver, Lane Sims.  Mr. Corder was retired from Wayne Farms and attended Mount Hermon Baptist Church. Visitation will be from 10-11 AM Friday, December 7, 2018 at Mount Hermon Baptist Church. The funeral will follow at 11:00 AM with Reverend Jimmy Pardue officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
