Danielle Lynn Davis McCrary

Mrs. Danielle Lynn Davis McCrary, 37, of Mount Airy, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, April 10, 2025. Mrs. McCrary was born November 18, 1987, in Surry County, to Michael Woodrow Davis and Amy Lynn Arnder. Danielle served as the controller at Surry Chemicals, where her dedication and attention to detail made a lasting impact. Outside of her professional life, she found beauty and peace in simple things. Whether tending to her houseplants, enjoying the quiet outdoors, or spending time with her cherished cats, Danielle embraced life’s quiet joys. She had a deep connection with nature and an appreciation for the small, meaningful moments that many overlook. Though her time here was far too short, Danielle’s memory lives on in the hearts of those who loved her. She is survived by her daughter, Sara Lynn McCrary; her mother, Amy Lynn Arnder (Vince Clay); her father, Michael Woodrow Davis (Michelle); her stepsister, Dusty Hayes (Travis); her maternal grandmother, Shirley Pyles Arnder; and the father of her daughter, Steven Nicholas McCrary. In keeping with Danielle’s wishes, no visitation or public memorial service will be held. A private family gathering will be held at a later date to celebrate her life.
