Danny Lee Carico

Mr. Danny Lee Carico, age 75 of Galax, Virginia passed away on Saturday, April 26, 2025, at the Joan and Howard Woltz Hospice Home in Dobson, North Carolina surrounded by his loving family. Mr. Carico was born on March 12, 1950, in Surry County to the late Berlie Lee and Elise Faye Kirby Carico. Danny was a loving father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother, and friend. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him. Surviving is his daughter and son-in-law, Deanna Carico Burgess and Lawrence; two grandchildren and their spouses, Ashley Hanks and Joshua, Kristen Nativi and Javier; four great-grandchildren, Aubree Hanks, Elliana Nativi, Mila Hanks, Presleigh Hanks; mother of his daughter, Donna Carico; a sister and brother-in-law, Gina Carico Isom and Ron; and a brother, Stanley Todd Carico; along with two nephews, Tony Isom and Teresa and Dustin Carico. In addition to his parents, Mr. Carico was preceded in death by a brother, Stevie Willard Carico. A private graveside service at Blue Ridge Chapel Church Cemetery. No formal visitation will be held. Moody Funeral Services in Mount Airy has been entrusted with the arrangements.
