Danny Ray Chaney

Mr. Danny Ray Chaney, age 64, of Dobson, NC passed away at his home on Wednesday after noon August 22, 2018. He was born in Forsyth County on June 7, 1954 to the late Elbert Ray Chaney and the late Vestie Shelton Chaney Fleming. Danny was a devoted father, grandfather, and friend to many. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by two grandchildren, Alisha Chaney and Skyler Upchurch; three sisters, Bonnie Hawks, Carol Wood, Brenda Gail Chaney. Surviving are his three daughters and son-in-law, Latisha Chaney, Deborah and Charlie Puckett, Brenda Chaney; eight grandchildren Blake Upchurch, Diana Chaney, Bryanna Chaney, Justeena Chaney, Julie Chaney, Maggie Upchurch, Jonah Chaney, Brayden Upchurch; special friends Lisa Weddle, Bree Hayden. The family will receive friends at Moody-Davis Funeral Home in Dobson on Friday evening from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM. There will be no other services held.
