Danny Paul Coleman

Mr. Danny Paul Coleman, 57, of Dobson, passed away Tuesday, December 14, 2010, at his home. He was born September 26, 1953, in Surry County, to Minnie Anderson Coleman and the late Franklin Coleman. Mr. Coleman retired as a truck driver from Quality Mills after many years of service. Survivors include his mother, Minnie Anderson Coleman; a sister and brother-in-law, Frankie and Tim Wilson of Wilmington; a brother and sister-in-law, Terry and Jo Ann Coleman of Lowgap; a godson, Michael Bailey; a goddaughter, Meghan Leeann Hardy; and special friends, Leslie Smith, Paul and Margaret Garmon, Josh Smith, and Terry and Denise Matthews. In addition to his father, Mr. Coleman was preceded in death by a brother, John Adam Coleman. A graveside service will be held Sunday, Decemer 19, 2010, at 2:00 PM at Round Peak Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery, with the Rev. Butch Holder officiating. The family will receive friends Saturday from 6:00 until 8:00 PM at Moody-Davis Funeral Home in Dobson.
