Danny Davis

          Mr. Danny Davis, age 63, of Stuart, Virginia completed his earthly journey on Thursday, October 20, 2022, at his home. He was born in Virginia on July 25, 1959, to Robert Davis, Jr., and the late Viola Tiller Davis. In addition to his mother, Danny was preceded in death by one brother, Ronald Davis. Danny was an avid follower of Jesus. He desired to reach as many people as he could by sharing his faith with others, and often asked people that he encountered, “Are you a follower of Jesus?” Danny thoroughly enjoyed music, making videos, traveling, and doing daily devotions on Facebook.  Danny will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.

        Left to cherish the memories of Mr. Davis are his loving wife of 26 years, Patricia Ann Jarvis Davis of the home; two daughters, Virginia Teresa Neal of Abingdon, Virginia, Valorie Mae Adams (Joe D. Adams, Jr.) of Mayodan, North Carolina; six grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; one stepson, Jerry Lynn Huffman (Laura) of Patrick Springs, Virginia; one stepdaughter, BobbiJo Roberts of the home; his beloved cat, Bean; and many dear friends.

        A funeral service for Mr. Davis will be held on Tuesday, October 25, 2022, at 11:00 a.m. at Moody Funeral Home Chapel in Stuart with Pastor Clint Conner officiating. The burial will take place in the Farmington Community Cemetery located at 142 Cemetery Road, Mocksville, NC 27028 on Tuesday afternoon at 2:30 p.m.  In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Samaritan’s Purse/Donor Ministries, P.O.
