Danny Durham

Mr. Danny Edward Durham, 55, of Lowgap, passed away Thursday, April 8, 2021.  He was born March 24, 1966, in Surry County, to Margie Horton Durham Noah and the late Harvey Durham.  Mr. Durham was a loving father, grandfather, son, and friend, who will be dearly missed.  He is survived by a son, Matthew Durham and his wife, Heather; a daughter, Tiffany Mankins and her husband, Edward; his mother and stepfather, Margie and Arthur Noah; a sister, Donna Durham and her husband, Billy; a brother, Joey Durham and his wife, Betty; and his grandchildren, Dallas, Chloe, Kaitlyn, Mattilyn, April, Neveah, Dominic, Amando, Kara, Iris, Kal-el and Benjamin.  In addition to his father, Mr. Durham was preceded in death by a brother, Roger Durham; and a sister, Bunny Durham Burtcham “Bonnie.”  Mr. Durham enjoyed spending his time outdoors and visiting with his grandchildren.  The family will receive friends Wednesday, April 14, 2021, from 10:00 until 11:00 AM at Moody Funeral Home in Mount Airy.  The funeral service will be held following at 11:00 AM with Pastor Warren Brown officiating.  Burial will follow at Gardner Memorial Cemetery in Hillsville, VA.
