Danny Ray Edwards

Mr. Danny Ray Edwards, 58, of Mt. Airy, passed away at the Joan and Howard Woltz Hospice Home, August 28, 2021. He was born in Surry County, March 7, 1963, to Peggy Sue Galyean Edwards and the late Lancy Landon Edwards. Mr. Edwards worked for several years at Henredon Furniture. He was a caring son, father, grandfather, and friend. Mr. Edwards is survived by his son and daughter-in-law, Landon and Jennifer Edwards; grandchildren Kathleen Darrh and Ashlynn Byrd, and a nephew Jarred Edwards; a niece Emma Edwards; great nephew Riley Scott Edwards; a sister-in-law Laura Edwards, and many friends. In addition to his father, Mr. Edwards was preceded in death by his wife Rhonda Tatum Edwards; brothers Jerry and Timothy Edwards. A graveside service will be held at the Marion Cemetery in Cana, Tuesday, August 31, 2021, at 2:00 PM. There will not be any formal visitation at the funeral home.
