Danny Ray Holyfield

Mr. Danny Ray Holyfield, 68, of Mt. Airy passed away Tuesday, January 19, 2021 at Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center in Winston Salem.  He was born in Surry County on October 3, 1952 to the late William and Thelma Johnson Holyfield.  Mr. Holyfield retired from Spencer’s, and will be dearly missed by all who knew him.  He is survived by nephews, Shaun Holyfield, Preston and Nicole Murray, and Cody Holyfield; a niece, Ginger Holyfield.  In addition to his parents Mr. Holyfield was preceded in death by sisters, Rachel Holyfield, Patricia Holyfield; a brother, Nathan Holyfield.  A funeral service will be held Saturday, January 23, 2021 at 2:00 PM at Moody Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev.
