Danny Keith Jones

Mr. Danny Keith Jones, age 61, of Winston-Salem, passed away June 8, 2024, at his residence.  He was born in Surry County on April 13, 1963, to the late Sammy Lester and Betty Louise Atkinson Jones.  He worked many years as a security guard for Allied Security.  Danny is survived by his sisters and brother-in-law, Diane Jones Bowman, Robin Horton and David; brother and sister-in-law, Sammy Lester Jones Jr. and Gaye; nieces and nephews and their spouses, Robert “Robbie” Joseph Bowman and Kim, Kayla Tucker and Wes, Daniel Chad Jones and Kristen, Samual Bryan Jones and Chasati, Andrew Lesley Jones and Heather, Samatha Nicole Wall and Joshua, Melanie Kristin Maynard and Seth, Joshua David Horton and Alexis, Caleb Max Horton and Baylee; 13 great nieces and nephews.  In addition to his parents, Danny was preceded in death by brother-in-law, Robert Bowman.  A celebration of life will be held Friday, June 14, 2024, at 3 PM at Moody Funeral Home in Mount Airy, with the Rev. David Horton officiating.  Family will receive friends Friday, June 14, 2024, from 1:30 until the time of the service.  Moody Funeral Home of Mount Airy is respectfully serving the Jones family.
