Danny Allen Keen

Danny Allen Keen, age 32, of Rocky Mount, passed away Thursday, Feb. 9, 2017 at his home. He was born in Patrick County on Sept. 23, 1984. Danny was preceded in death by his biological mother, Kay Goard Hammond; a sister, Amber Renee Keen; his maternal grandfather, Wayne Perdue; and two Aunts, Ruth Coleman and Rosa Ann Justice. Danny loved his family, hunting, and gardening. He was a member of Harvest Worship Center.

Surviving are his wife, Jessica Kinney Keen of the home; three sons, Justin, Andrew, and Hunter Keen of the home; his parents, Danny David and Lisa Perdue Keen of Patrick Springs; one sister, Donna Joanna Keen Harbour and husband, Mark of Woolwine; his maternal grandmother, Stella Spence Perdue of Stuart; his paternal grandparents, Creed and Betty Deskins Keen of Henry; special nephew, Johnathan Harbour; several Aunts, Uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews; and his best friend, Travis Stanley.

Funeral services will be held Sunday, Feb. 12, 2017 at 2:00 PM at Harvest Worship Center with Pastor David Coleman officiating. Burial will follow in the Spence Family Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church and at other times at the home of his parents. Memorials may be made to the Danny Allen Keen Memorial Fund, P.O.
