Darcy Randall "Randy" Bean

Mr. Darcy Randall “Randy” Bean, age 71 of Pinnacle, NC formerly of Conneautville, PA, passed away Saturday evening December 16, 2023, at Atrium Health Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center in Winston-Salem.  He was born in Crawford County, PA, on April 27, 1952, to the late Clarence and Clarrisa Amelia Stewart Bean.  He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and friend who will be deeply missed. Randy and his wife, Karen, are members of The Church on Pine Ridge Road. Randy was formerly employed by Molded Fiberglass. He was also a proud member of the Western Crawford Lodge and the Zem Zem Shriners. Randy was always happy to lend a hand, and he spent much of his time volunteering to transport children to Shiner’s Hospital for Children. Left to cherish his memory are his loving wife, Karen Louise Clausen Bean of the home; a daughter and son-in-law, Danielle Bean-Davis and Zachary of Mount Airy; grandson, Elias Davis; sister, Joyce Gibson; and many other family and friends.  In addition to his parents, Randy was preceded in death by two sisters, Dorothy Bean, and Janet Woodring. He always knew how to make everyone laugh and put smiles on faces. A service of worship and celebration will be held on Saturday January 13, 2024, at 11:00am at The Church, 1193 Pine Ridge Road, Mount Airy, NC 27030 with Pastor Chris Oakley and Pastor Colton Acord officiating.  Moody Funeral Services in Mount Airy is serving the family.
