Darlene Judy Linster

Mrs. Darlene Judy Hylton Linster, age 60 of Stuart, Virginia departed this Earthly life on Saturday, November 14, 2020, at SOVAH Hospital of Martinsville.  She was born in Martinsville on May 31, 1960, to the late Robert Lee Hylton and Eulalea Hylton.  In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by two sisters, Joan H. Tatum, and Virginia Penn; and four brothers, Timothy Hylton, Mark Hylton, Douglas Hylton, and Carlton Hylton.  She was a member of Samaria Apostolic Church.  Darlene was affectionately called “Sissy” and she truly loved being a Grandma/Granny to her beloved grandchildren.

Mrs. Linster is survived by her husband, Herman Linster of Stuart; two children, Shavanna Johnson and husband, Kevin of Stuart, and Bryan Hylton and fiancé, Lisa Wagner of Bassett; one stepson, Phillip Linster and wife, Mandy of Bassett; five grandchildren, Keontae Johnson, Quamaine Johnson, Dessantaé Hylton, Olivia Hylton, and Trey Linster; five siblings, Ramona Reynolds and husband, Leonard of Patrick Springs, Gregory Hylton of Critz, Daphne Hylton of Stuart, Keith Hylton and wife, Mandy of Critz, and Michelle Hylton-Ramos and husband, Eugene of Martinsville; and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

A graveside service for Mrs. Linster will be held on Friday, November 20, 2020 at 1:00 p.m. in Samaria Apostolic Church Cemetery with Bishop Eugene Ramos eulogizing.  Friends may visit Moody Funeral Home in Stuart on Thursday, November 19, 2020 from 12:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m. to pay their final respects.  Online condolences may be sent by visiting www.moodyfuneralservices.com.
