David Lee Johnson

Mr. David Lee Johnson, age 58, of Pilot Mountain, NC passed away Friday, April 20, 2018 at his home.  He was born in Surry County on May 22, 1959 to the late Fred and Sylvia Marion Johnson.  He was a retired Electrician.  Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Rhonda Fitzgerald Johnson of the home; daughter and son-in-law, Brandi and Jacob Thompson of Ararat, NC; son, Jonathan Johnson of Dobson, NC; step-daughters and husbands, Amber and Chad Bond of Cabot, AR.,  Shauna and Matthew Hunter of Cabot, AR, Carlie Quesenberry of the home; eleven grandchildren, Kailyn Bond, Rilee Bond, Bryce Thompson, Ethan Hunter, Landon Thompson, Alex Hunter, Maecee Quesenberry, Elyse Hunter, Mazrie Bond, Maddison Johnson, Claire Quesenberry; sisters, Edna Hawks of Lowgap, Lorene Moore of Dobson; brother, James “Jay” Johnson of Dobson.  Funeral services will be held 11:00 AM Saturday, April 28, 2018 in the chapel of Moody-Davis Funeral Home in Dobson, with burial to follow in the Piney Grove Baptist Church Cemetery.  Rev. Joe Lambert will officiate the service.  The family will receive friends at Moody-Davis Funeral Home on Friday evening from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM.
