David Harlan Myers

Mr. David Harlan Myers, 67, of Mount Airy, passed away Wednesday, June 16, 2010, at his home. Mr. Myers was born November 27, 1942, in Brooklyn, NY, to the late Sam and Jeanne Dressler Myers. He served as a member in the 82nd Airborne Division of the United States Army. He was a consultant for the textile industry and attended Temple Emanuel in Winston-Salem. Mr. Myers is survived by his wife, Linda Pappalardo Myers of the home; a daughter, Jamie Myers of Virginia; two sons, Gregory Myers of the home and Eric Myers of Virginia; and two grandchildren, Jarrod and Jordan. The funeral service will be held Saturday, June 19, 2010, at 8:00 PM at Moody Funeral Home Chapel in Mount Airy. The family will receive friends Saturday from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at the funeral home. Due to the tradition of the family, flowers will be omitted from the service.
