David Moscoe Puckett

Mr. David Moscoe Puckett, 67, of Mount Airy, passed away peacefully Saturday evening, September 17, 2022, at the Joan and Howard Woltz Hospice Home in Dobson, NC.  He was born June 7, 1955, in Surry County to the late Leonard Moscoe Puckett and Eva Euelala Puckett Puckett.  He was worked at Cross Creek Apparel for many years until his health would not let him.  Survivors include nephews, Jeff Westmoreland, Paul Christopher Westmoreland, and William Jason Ayers; and a niece, Cynthia Deneen Westmoreland Barr.  In addition to his parents, Mr. Puckett was preceded in death by two sisters, Linda Gail Westmoreland and Claudine Ayers; and two brothers, Leonard Caudle “Junior” Puckett and Claude Turner “CT” Puckett.  The family will receive friends on Wednesday night, September 21, 2022, from 6:00 – 8:00PM.  There will not be any formal services for Mr. Puckett at this time.  Moody Funeral Services in Mount Airy is serving the Puckett family.
