David Raymond Wolfe
August 10, 1946—April 23, 2024
A graduate of Boonville High School, United States Navy Veteran, a Mason and Eastern Star member, David loved his family, church, traveling, and NCIS. He was the owner of Boonville Golf Course for more than 50 years sharing his love of golf, Dr. Pepper, Honey Buns, and Nabs with all who graced the rolling fairways. On Sundays his “AMEN” in response to the choir was a favorite among his church family at Boonville United Methodist Church. A jokester who answered the phone “YELLOW,” sneezed loud enough for the world to hear, taught this family to fear the words “PULL MY FINGER,” and could eat ice cream at every meal, David loved all the excuses he could find for a puny joke and a sweet treat.
David is preceded in death by his father, Henry Wolfe, mother, Ruby Vestal Wolfe, and sister, Marie Wolfe Lynch. He is survived by his wife, Reginia Miller Wolfe of Thurmond, NC.
