Davis Lee Love

Mr. Davis Lee Love. Age 76, of Mt. Airy, passed away on Friday, June 28, 2024 at his home surrounded by his loving family. He was born on August 31, 1947 in Surry County to the late Jackson and Hassie Ayers Love. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather who will surely be missed by all who knew him. Left to cherish his memory is his wife of 56 years, Myrtle Collins Love; sons, Johnathan Love, Raymond Love (Kelly); grandchildren, Levi, Maria, Lucas, and Mason Love; great-grandchild, Sophie-Claire; sisters, Annie Edwards (Billy), Mina Hiatt, Janie, Kitty Forman (Rick); brothers, Harvy Love, Jackson Love, Richard Love (Trish); sister-in-law, Darlene Love. In addition to his parents Mr. Love was preceded in death by brother, Estel Love. A memorial visitation will be held on Saturday, June 29, 2024 from 2:00 PM - 4:00PM at Fellowship Missionary Baptist Church in Mt. Airy. A memorial graveside service will be held on Sunday, June 30, 2024 at 3:00 PM Oak Grove Baptist Church in Cana with service conducted by Bro. Joe Collins.
