Debbie Jean Collins Nelson

Mrs. Deborah “Debbie” Jean Collins Nelson, 54, of Pilot Mountain passed away Wednesday, September 14, 2022, at her home surrounded by her loving family.  She was born in Forsyth County on November 1, 1967, to the late William and Betty Heath Collins.  Mrs. Nelson was a loving homemaker who will be dearly missed.  She is survived by her husband, David Nelson; daughters and son-in-law, Debra Nelson and fiancé  Scott Talley, Amanda Ledford and Dwight; eight grandchildren; sisters-in-law, Mary Hill and Linda Bowman; sisters and brother-in-law, Janet Wright and Alan, Karen Vestal; brothers and sisters-in-law, Keith Collins and Mary, Bobby Collins, Donnie Collins and Gail, Rodney Collins and Dorena; many nieces and nephews.  In addition to her parents, Mrs. Nelson was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Ava Conner, and a brother-in-law, James Nelson. A Celebration of Life service will be held on Saturday, September 17, 2022 at 11:00 AM at The Community Church with service conducted by Rev. Ray Hutson .
