Deborah Crane Arrington

Mrs. Deborah Crane Arrington, age 70, of Pilot Mountain passed away on Monday, January 2, 2023, at the Joan and Howard Woltz Hospice Home in Dobson. She was born in Rowan County, January 16, 1952, the daughter of the late Curtis and Lois Neal Crane. Debbie grew up in Salisbury, North Carolina and graduated from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill with a Bachelor of Science degree. She was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother, and a member of Friendly Chapel Church in Pilot Mountain. Debbie was a faithful Christian who loved her Lord and Savior with her entire being.  The Lord most certainly rejoiced when he welcomed her home.  Surviving is her husband, Phillip H. Arrington; her children, Matthew Mullen, Trip Arrington, and Will Arrington; her grandson, Braxton Arrington; brother and sister-in-law, Ted and Kay Crane; niece, Kara Crane; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Harvey and Jean Arrington; and sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Kathy and Bob Moody. Funeral services will be held on Friday, January 6, 2023, at Friendly Chapel Church in Pilot Mountain, NC at 2:00 PM with Rev. Ryan Whitt officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. The Arrington family will receive friends at the church on Friday from 12:30 PM until 2:00 PM. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Joan and Howard Woltz Hospice Home, 945 Zephyr Road, Dobson, NC 27017. Funeral arrangements are entrusted to Moody Funeral Service of Mount Airy.
