Deborah Lynn Gammons Epperson

Mrs. Deborah Lynn Gammons Epperson, 56, of Mt. Airy passed away Thursday, December 31, 2015 at CHS North East Hospital in Concord. She was born in Surry County on January 2, 1959 to Bernie Gammons and the late Helen Irene Bowman Gammons. Mrs. Epperson was HR Manager for Insteel Wire Products and was a member of Slate Mountain Baptist Church. In addition to her father, Mrs. Gammons is survived by her husband, Richard Epperson of the home; a daughter, Sara Elizabeth Hill of Mt. Airy; a son and daughter-in-law, Shane and Kayla Hill of Greensboro; a step-daughter, Megan Daniel Epperson of Pinnacle; a step-son, Nathan Epperson of Mt. Airy. Funeral services will be held Sunday, January 3, 2016 at 2:00 PM at Indian Grove Baptist Church with the Rev. Chris McMillian and the Rev. Frank Harmon officiating. Burial will follow in Indian Grove Family Cemetery. The family will receive friends Saturday night from 6:00 until 8:00 PM at Moody Funeral Home in Mt. Airy.
