Deborah Moser Stone

Mrs. Deborah Moser Stone, age 63 of Hillsville, Virginia, passed away on Tuesday, May 16, 2023, at Carilion New River Valley Medical Center in Christiansburg, Virginia.  She was born in Surry County on November 4, 1959, to the late Lillian Louise Tilley and Ervin Moser.  Mrs. Stone loved trips to the beach, puzzles, cats and movies. Above all else, she loved her family.  She cherished time spent with her daughters and adored every moment with her husband, Randall.  She was a loving wife, mother, sister, grandmother and friend.  She enjoyed a simple life.  She will surely be missed by all who loved her.  Mrs. Stone is survived by her husband, Randall Stone; daughters and son-in-law, Jenny Strickland and Misty and Michael Pack; grandson, Christian Noisey; sister and brother-in-law, Mary and Michael Woods; mother-in-law and father-in-law, Daisy Gravley and Maria and Aldon Stone; and brother-in-law and sisters-in-law, Brian and Dawn Gravley, Marlana Felts and Tonya Pullen.  In addition to her parents, Mrs. Stone was preceded in death by her granddaughter, Hanna Noisey; and brother, Jerry Moser.  A private graveside service will be held.  Moody Funeral Service in Mount Airy has been entrusted with Mrs. Moser’s arrangements.
