Dee Radford Chilton

Mr. Dee Radford Chilton Age 72 of Mt. Airy passed away Tuesday July 17, 2012 at Central Continuing Care in Mt. Airy. Mr. Chilton was born August 29, 1939 in Stokes County to Mary Doris Nunn Chilton and the late William Quentin Chilton. He was retired after 50 some years in the Food Service Profession as a Chef and was of the Protestant Faith. Surviving are one daughter Cindy Chilton Smith of Mt. Airy, two sons and daughter-in-law Ricky Chilton of Greensboro and Marty and Susie Chilton of Charlotte, his mother Mary Doris Nunn Chilton of Mt. Airy, six grandchildren Brooke Dixon, Megan Chilton, Matt Chilton, Ben Chilton, Abby Hazel and Mason Gilley, one sister and brother-in-law Libby and Rev. Ted Harrold of Raleigh, several aunts and uncles, several nieces and nephews and a special niece Robin Portis. A memorial service will be held Saturday July 21, 2012 at 2:00 P.M. at Faith Baptist Church with services conducted by Rev. Randy Edwards and Rev. Ted Harrold. The family will receive friends at the church from 1:00 P.M. until time for the service. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Activity Fund at Central Continuing Care, 1287 Newsome St. Mt.
