Delacir Sierra

Mrs. Delacir Chavez Sierra, 55, of Mt. Airy passed away Saturday, May 8, 2021 at Sharp Chula Vista Medical Center in Chula Vista, CA.  She was born in Mexico on May 26, 1965 to Sebastian Chavez Rubio and Sara Acuna-Torres.  Mrs. Chavez was a loving homemaker who will be dearly missed by all her family and friends.  In addition to her mother Mrs. Sierra is survived by a her husband, Zacarias Sierra; her children and spouses, Maria Sierra and Eliel Rico, Yecenia Sierra, Alma Rocio Sierra and Antonio Espitia, Leon Alberto Sierra; grandchildren, Camila Sierra, Lea Rico, Leon Quintana, Gianella Espitia, Gilani Espitia, Maylee Sierra, Abigail Cruz; sisters Cristina Chavez, Esther Vega, and Oliva Chavez; brothers, Ofelio Chavez, Lorenzo Chavez, Gonzalo Chavez, Jose Guadalupe Chavez; many nieces and nephews.  In addition to her father, Mrs. Chavez was preceded in death by a brother, Lucano Chavez.  A graveside service will be held Saturday, May 22, 2021 at 2:00 PM at Skyline Memory Gardens with pastor Santiago Reales officiating.  The family will receive friends Saturday May 22, 2021 from 10:30 AM until 1:30 PM at Moody Funeral Home in Mt.
