Delia Charlene Marshall

Ms. Delia Charlene Marshall Age 52 of 908 Green Springs Road, Ararat, VA passed away on Monday, October 29, 2007 at Northern Hospital of Surry County. Ms. Marshall was born in Patrick County on November 20, 1954 to Maybelle Collins Marshall and the late Avery Marshall. Surviving are one son and daughter-in-law, Harlen "Chuck" and Amy Hawks; two grandchildren, Holly and Haley Hawks; her mother, Maybelle Collins Marshall of Ararat; four sisters and brothers-in-law, Carolyn Marshall of Mount Airy, Jeannie and Roy Marshall of Ararat, Jewel and Herbert Bowman of Ararat and Ann and Junior Cockerham of Mount Airy; one brother and sisters-in-law, Bill and Rhoda Marshall of Ararat and Mildred Marshall of Mount Airy; special niece, Sydney Pesa; numerous other nieces and nephews and a very close and special friend, Sherl Doss of Ararat. In addition to her father Ms. Marshall was preceded in death by a brother, Ray "Bob" Marshall. A private service will be held for the family. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Moody Funeral Home to assist the family with expenses. Moody Funeral Home in Mount Airy is assisting the Marshall family.
