Della Belle Weaver

Heaven gained an angel on Sunday, November 17, 2019.  Mrs. Della Parker Weaver age 94, of Dobson, NC formerly of Benson, NC, joined her husband, Jessie Coolidge at the feet of Jesus.  She was born in Johnston County on February 12, 1925, to the late David Esacar Parker and the late Callie Winiford Adams Parker.  In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her sister, Lillie Weaver; brothers, Elwood Parker, Sherrill Parker, and Golden Parker. She was a loving mother of four children, Joan and Carl Gross, Donna and Ronnie McLamb, Homer and Linnette Weaver, Corby Weaver; grandchildren, Vanessa Weaver, Shawn Teague, Brandon Weaver, Jesse Weaver, Alyssa Weaver, Justin McLamb, Austin McLamb, Karie Snow; great-grandchildren, Quentin Buckland, Wyatt Teague, Zayne Teague, Layla Pilkington, Judah Dogeagle, Gwenyth Weaver, Grailin Weaver, Easton McLamb, Asher McLamb, Eliana Moorman; sister, Nadine Matthews;  special angels, Whittney Anthony, Lee Hummel.  A graveside service will be held at 3:00 PM Wednesday, November 20, 2019, in Roselawn Cemetery in Benson, NC.  A celebration of life will be held on December 1, 2019, at Salem Fork Baptist Church starting at 2:00 pm. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Joan & Howard Woltz Hospice Home 945 Zephyr Road, Dobson, NC 27017. Moody-Davis Funeral Home is serving the Weaver family.  There will be no services held at the funeral home.
