Delmar Arthur Cave

Mr. Delmar Arthur Cave, age 73, of Dobson passed away Friday, February 12, 2021, at Forsyth Medical Center. He was born June 16, 1947 in Surry County to the late Joseph Edgar Cave and the late Bessie Elizabeth Hodges Cave. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, Alvin Cave and Roy Lee Cave. He is survived by his loving wife, Patricia Anthony Cave; daughters and son-in-law, Pam Hyatt and Teresa and Craig Key; grandchildren, Ava and Hunter Oxentine, Abigail Hyatt, Jesse Key and Levi Hyatt; sisters and brother-in-law, Peggy Flippen, Edith and Harold Flippen, and Carolyn Bodenhammer; and his brother and sister-in-law, Edward and Carolyn Cave. Mr. Cave was a retired truckdriver and a member and a Deacon of Snow Hill Baptist Church. Mr. Cave will lie in state, Monday, February 15, from 11:00 A.M till the time of the service, which will begin at 1:00 P.M in the Moody-Davis Chapel with Brother Craig Key, Brother Jimmy Settle and Brother Jason Johnson officiating. Burial will follow in the Snow Hill Baptist Church Cemetery.
