Dennis Arnold

Mr. Dennis Arnold Age 86 of Mt. Airy, NC. passed away Tuesday February 6, 2013 at the Joan & Howard Woltz Hospice Home in Dobson, NC. Mr. Arnold was born July 20, 1927 in Franklin Co. NC. to the late Ebby and Betty Vaughn Arnold, he was a veteran of the Army Air Corp serving in WWII, was self-employed and was also a member of Mount Airy Wesleyan Church. Surviving is his wife Elizabeth Smith Arnold of the home, two daughters and son-in-law Betty Jo and Scott Layne of Mooresville and Vicky Atkins of Mt. Airy, three sons and daughter-in-law Gene Arnold and companion Latonia Bowman of Mt. Airy, Ray Arnold of Mt. Airy and Jeff and Dee Arnold of Mooresville, eight grandchildren David Cox, Robert Arnold, Daniel Arnold, Tony Arnold, Elliott Arnold, Amy Arnold, Genna Atkins and Meredith Layne, three great grandchildren Delilah Cox, Asher Cox and Jacob Arnold and two step grandchildren Robert Jolly and Davis Jolly. In addition to his parents Mr. Arnold was preceded in death by one sister Lucy Wood and by two brothers Linwood Arnold and Edward Arnold. An entombment service was held Wednesday at the Skyline Memory Gardens Mausoleum.
