Dennis Oscar Coe

Mr. Dennis Oscar Coe, age 87, of Dobson, passed away Sunday, November 6, 2022, at Village Care of King. He was born August 24, 1935, in Surry County to the late Oscar and Ruth Coe. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sisters, Evelyn Rhodes, Velma Binkley, and his brothers, Roy Coe, Rex Coe, Waldo Coe, and Ronald Coe.

            Left to cherish his memories are his Loving wife, Barbara Jean Cockerham Coe; and his sons, Denny Scott Coe, and Mark Alan Coe: and his sister Hazel Young; and several nieces and nephews Mr. Coe was a loving husband and father, a member of Double Creek Church of Christ, and was a retired police officer with the city of Winston Salem, and had also worked at WGHP Channel 8. A graveside service will be conducted 11:00 AM Thursday, November 10, 2022 in the Double Creek Church of Christ Cemetery with Rev. John Elmore officiating. Moody-Davis Funeral Service in Dobson is serving the Coe family.
