Dennis Anderson Marion

Mr. Dennis Anderson Marion, age 66, of Dobson, NC passed away at Pruitt Health in Elkin, NC on Thursday evening March 17, 2022.  He was born in Surry County on October 12, 1955, to the late Bishop Anderson Marion, and the late Violet Gillespie Marion.  He was a Poultry Farmer, and a member of Salem Baptist Church.  Surviving is his wife, Cheryl Outlaw Marion; son and daughter-in-law, Chad and Nicole Jenkins; grandchildren, Javen Jenkins, Curtis Reeves, Tanner Lane; special friends, Sidney Whitaker and Steven Whitaker.  A funeral service will be held 2:00 PM March 21, 2022, in the chapel of Moody-Davis Funeral Home, with burial to follow in the Salem Baptist Church Cemetery.  Rev. Joe Atkins will officiate the services.  The family will receive friends at Moody-Davis Funeral Home on Sunday evening March 20, 2022, from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM.
