Dennis McMillian

Dennis Ray McMillian, 72, passed away at Baptist Hospital on October 10, 2022.  While he may no longer be with us on Earth, he is leaving behind many memories with those he loved.  An avid fisherman, a devout family man, a former preacher, and a wonderful husband, father, stepfather, brother, son, nephew, cousin, uncle, and friend, Dennis will truly be missed by everyone he has come in contact with in the past seven decades.  He is survived in death by his wife, Robin McMillian; mother, Retha Richardson; daughters and son-in-law, Tiffany Dickens and Sarah and Eddie Marsh; sons and daughters-in-law, Kelly and Cynthia McMillian, Robert and Angela Tate, and Michael McMillian; stepdaughter and son-in-law, April and David Goodlin; stepsons and daughter-in-law, Michael and Misty Vawter and David Anderson; sister and brother-in-law, Brenda and David Tate; brothers and sister-in-law, David McMillian and Robert and Pam McMillian; friend and mother of children, Barbara McMillian; and countless grandchildren, great-grandchildren, foster children; and nieces, nephews.  Dennis was preceded in death by his father, Robert McMillian, Sr.; his stepfather, Troy Richardson; nephews, Steven Gwyn, David Anthony “Bumper” McMillian.  A celebration of life will be held Sunday, October 23, 2022, at 3:00 at Welcome Baptist Church.  The family will receive friends at the church from 2:00 until 3:00 on Sunday.
