Dereck Neal Bowman

Mr. Dereck Neal Bowman, 30, of Hickory, died Friday, March 21, 2008 in Conover. Mr. Bowman was born May 1, 1977, in Forsyth County, to Barbara Tyndall Bowman and the late David Neal Bowman. Surviving are his mother, Barbara Tyndall Bowman of Mount Airy; a special friend, Lauren Hefner of Hickory; sisters, Amanda Evans of High Point, Jennifer Evans of Dobson, and Samantha Evans of Mount Airy; a brother, Dean Bowman of Mount Airy; and his grandparents, Louise Yates of Statesville and Gid and Ruby Bowman of Mount Airy. A graveside service will be held 2:00 PM Thursday, March 27, 2008 at Skyline Memory Gardens, with the Rev. Clyde Akers. The family will receive friends Wednesday from 7:00 to 9:00 PM at Moody Funeral Home in Mount Airy.
