Derrick Shane Coleman

Mr. Derrick Shane Coleman, age 29 of Stuart, passed away on Sunday, October 05, 2008. He was born in Patrick County on August 21, 1979 to the late Esley Conrad Coleman, Sr and Lena Collins Coleman. In addition to his father he was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents; John Raymond and Ethel Wiggington Coleman and his maternal grandparents; William Hassell and Iva Inman Collins.
Mr. Coleman is survived by his mother, Lena Collins Coleman of Stuart; a brother; Esley "Butch" Coleman, Jr. & wife, Rene of Stuart and a niece Caeley Coleman of Stuart.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, October 8, 2008 at 11:00am Moody Funeral Home with Pastor J. R. Vipperman and Rev. Trent Wall officiating. Burial will follow in the Wiggington family cemetery on Carter Mountain Road, Stuart. The family will receive friends from 6:00pm until 8:00pm Tuesday at the funeral home, and at other times at the homes of Lena Coleman, 195 Carter Mountain Road, Stuart and Bobby Pendleton, 483 Clearview Drive, Patrick Springs.
