Devin Shane Wilson

Baby Devin Shane Wilson passed away Tuesday, March 17, 2009, at Cincinnati Children's Hospital in Cincinnati, OH. Born February 9, 2009, in Cincinnati, OH, Devin was the son of Micheal Shane Wilson and April Denise Bowman. In addition to his loving parents, Devin is survived by a twin brother, Keegan Micheal Wilson of the home; his maternal grandmother, Lora Bowman of Claudville, VA; his paternal grandmother, Alma Wilson of Mount Airy; a maternal great-grandfather, Roy Thomas Land of North Carolina; and several aunts and uncles, Susan Murphy and R.L. Clinton Jackson Bowman, both of Virginia, Mollie Bowman of North Carolina, Larry Wayne Wilson, Jr., Christopher Lee Wilson, and Amanda Sue Puckett, all of Mount Airy, and Veronica Lynn Davis of Denton. Devin was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Dennis Jule Bowman; and his paternal grandfather, Larry Wayne Wilson, Sr. The funeral service will be held Tuesday, March 24, 2009, at 2:00 PM at Moody Funeral Home Chapel in Mount Airy, with Brother Jerry Pardue officiating. Burial will follow in the Pack Family Cemetery in Ararat, VA. The family will receive friends Monday from 7:00 to 8:00 PM at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, the family has requested memorials to the Devin Shane Wilson Memorial Fund to assist with accumulating health care expenses and funeral expenses.
