Dewey Lawrence Dunn

Mr. Dewey Lawrence Dunn, 72, of Elkin, passed away peacefully at his home on Saturday, September 26, 2009. He was born in Lewis County, New York, to the late James Monroe and Ella Mae Pluff Dunn. A loving father, grandfather and friend, Mr. Dunn leaves to cherish his memory a daughter and son-in-law, Laura and Charles Norman of East Bend; four sons and three daughters-in-law, Robert "Bob" Dunn of Lexington, Brad and Michelle Dunn of Elkin, Gary and Pamela Dunn of Walnut Cove, and Tony and Melba Sakowski of Elkin; three grandchildren, Danielle Dunn, Kaleb Dunn, and Samantha Dunn; as well as siblings, nieces, nephews, and friends. A private graveside service will be held in the Dunn Family Cemetery at a later date.
