Diane Lynn Norman Felts

Mrs. Diane Lynn Norman Felts, age, 63, of Mount Airy passed away Wednesday, September 21, 2022.  She gained her angel wings at her favorite place, Ocean Lakes Family Campground in Myrtle Beach, SC.  Diane was born in Surry County January 13, 1959, to Beulah Leonard Norman and the late Dixie Norman .  She deeply loved her family and dedicated her life to the care and support them.  Diane was a faithful member of Fancy Gap Baptist Church for 30 years.  She worked with various textile companies during her career and retired from LS Starrett.  Diane never met a stranger.  She was loyal to attend water aerobics at ProHealth and enjoyed time with friends there.  She will be remembered for her laughter, her warm and welcoming heart, and being a God-fearing Christian lady.  In addition to her mother Diane is survived by her husband of 43 years Gary Dean Felts; her favorite child, fur baby, “Spoty”; daughter, Eden Felts (Jenn Evans); son, Nicholas Felts (Mark Rivera); aunts, Mary Martin and Roxie Collins and husband, Eddie; a special nephew Travis Felts; special adopted grandkids, Joseph and Emma; several special cousins; and many dear friends.  In addition to her father, Mrs. Felts was preceded in death by a sister, Patricia Norman Hardy.  A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, September 27, 2022, at 1:00 PM at Fancy Gap Baptist Church with Rev. Dwight Sechrist officiating.  Interment will follow at Skyline Memory Garden.  The family will receive friends at the church on Tuesday, from 11:00 AM until 1:00 PM.  In lieu of flowers the family has requested memorial contributions be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105 or to the American Diabetic Association, P.O.
