Dianna Yvonne (Marshall) Coalson

Mrs. Dianna Yvonne Marshall Coalson, 68 of Lowgap, passed away on Saturday, March 19, 2022, at Atrium Health-Wake Forest Baptist in Winston-Salem.  Mrs. Coalson was born on April 27, 1953, to the late William Franklin and Ressie Easter Marshall.  Dianna was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and friend.  She will be deeply missed by all that knew her.  Left to cherish her memories are her husband of 51 years, Jimmy Coalson; daughter and son-in-law, Debbie Shelton and David; a son, William Grey Coalson and fiancée Jennifer Holbrook; three grandchildren, Michael Smith and fiancée Breanna Sumner; Derrick Smith and wife Amy, Hannah Coalson and fiancé Jacob Hogue; twelve great-grandchildren; one brother and sister-in-law, Donnie Marshall and Linda; along with several nieces and nephews.  In addition to her parents, Mrs. Coalson was preceded in death by a sister, Delight Dawn Marshall.  A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, March 23, 2022, at 2:00 PM at First Church of the Brethren with Rev. Joe Smith, Brother Ed Hall, Rev. Michael Smith officiating with burial to follow in the Smith Golding Cemetery.  The family will receive friends on Wednesday, March 23, 2022, from 12:30 PM until 2:00 PM at First Church of the Brethren.  Moody Funeral Services in Mount Airy is serving the family.
