Dinah Ann (Diann) Bullin Smith

Dinah Ann (Diann) Bullin Smith passed away May 24, 2022 at SECU Hospice Home in Yadkinville, NC. Diann was born September 24, 1944, to Marshall and Geneva C. Bullin in Elkin, NC. She is survived by her husband, Robert Samuel Smith of the home, to whom she was married for over 55 years. She also leaves behind her three sons and their families: Sam and Kim, Tripp, Ellen, Kara, Delilah, and Eli of Pleasant Garden NC, Rodney and Heather, Daniel, and Emma of State Road NC, and Jason and Marcia, Elliot, and Mamie of Ararat, NC. She is also survived by her mother, Geneva C. Bullin, sister, Irene White, and brother, Terry Bullin and his wife Ligia, all of Elkin NC.  Mrs. Smith was preceded in death by her father and an infant sister.

Diann retired from Southland Transportation billing and payroll department and was a member of Little Richmond Baptist Church.

A graveside service will be held in the Little Richmond Baptist Church Cemetery at 4:00 pm on Saturday, May 28, 2022. Dr. Danny Dodds and Rev. JV Lowe will be officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the ALS Foundation (ALS.org) or Mountain Valley Hospice SECU Hospice Care Center (mtnvalleyhospice.org/donate) in her honor.

The family would like to extend a special thank you to her caregivers at Mountain Valley Hospice and Palliative Care, the SECU Hospice Care Center in Yadkinville, and to Priscilla, Shirley, Betty, and Emma who helped care for her at home.  Moody-Davis Funeral Home is serving the Smith family.  There will be no formal services held at the funeral Home.
