Dixie Louise Clay Lyons

Mrs. Dixie Louise Clay Lyons, 96, formerly of Lambsburg, VA, passed away Sunday, August 19, 2007, at Golden Living Nursing Center in Galax, VA. A native of Wayne County, WV, Mrs. Lyons was born September 7, 1910. She was a homemaker and a member of the Methodist faith. She is survived by two stepdaughters and a spouse, Shirley and John Horky of Pasadena, MD, and Barbara Bashum of Crab Orchard, WV; a stepson and spouse, Charles Larry and Delna Lyons of Crab Orchard, WV; and several stepgrandchildren. Mrs. Lyons was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Lyons. A graveside service will be held Saturday, August 25, 2007, at 2:00 PM at Chestnut Grove Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery. The service will be conducted by the Rev. Ron Schwarz. No formal visitation will be held at the funeral home.
