Donald Ray Crank

Mr. Donald Ray Crank, age 75 of Meadows of Dan, Virginia, passed away at the Joan and Howard Woltz Hospice Home in Dobson, North Carolina.  Mr. Crank was born in West Virginia on April 5, 1943, to the late Simon Crank and Elvie Blevins Crank.  In addition to his parents,  he was preceded in death by one step-brother, Donald Crank.  Donald was a longtime truck driver and enjoyed hunting and fishing.

        Mr. Crank is survived by two daughters, Gayle Garnett of Richmond, VA and Deborah Augustine of Meadows of Dan, VA; two grandsons, Landon Augustine and Braedon Augustine; and one brother, Edward Crank and wife, Faye of Meadows of Dan, VA.

        Funeral services for Mr. Crank will be held on Thursday, November 8, 2018, at 11:00 a.m. at Moody Funeral Home Chapel in Stuart with Pastor Mike Magnani officiating.  Burial will follow in the Knowles-Eden Cemetery in Meadows of Dan.  The family will receive friends on Wednesday evening, November 7, 2018, from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m.  Online condolences may be sent by visiting www.moodyfuneralservices.com.
