Donald Wayne Goins

Mr. Donald “Wayne” Goins, age 61 of Lowgap, passed away on Sunday, December 15, 2024, at PruittHealth in Elkin, North Carolina surrounded by his loving family. Mr. Goins was born in Surry County on April 28, 1963, to the Pauline Quesinberry Goins and the late Columbus Goins. Wayne was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him. Surviving is his wife of 35 years, Bessie Guynn Goins; a daughter and son-in-law, Nicole Goins Brady and husband Kyle; one son Derrick Quesinberry; one stepson, Tim Quesinberry; six grandchildren, Skylar, Olivia, Jaxton, Luke, Jake, Kiara; and his mother, Pauline Quesinberry Goins. In addition to his father, Mr. Goins was preceded in death by two brothers, Ricky Goins, and Tony Goins. A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, December 28, 2024, at 2:00 PM at Rise Above Worship Center, 1193 Pine Ridge Road, Mount Airy, with Reverend Chad Crotts officiation. No formal visitation will be held. Moody Funeral Services in Mount Airy has been entrusted with the arrangements.
