Donald Ray Goins III “Little Don” passed away peacefully Sunday, March 20th, 2022 at his home in Mt. Airy, NC. He was born on March 12th, 1984, to his Mother, Cindy Woodruff (Jay) and his Father, Donald Ray Goins Jr. (Carolyn). Don was full of life, adventurous, fun-loving, a sharp dresser, always trying a new recipe, and interested in many things this world had to offer…but his greatest love was his wife, Ashley Goins, and their two fur babies, Roco and Beau. They loved traveling, camping, hiking, all kinds of music, and just being with each other. Left to cherish his memories in addition to his wife and parents are his sister, Lauren Goins, and her three boys, Brody & Brantley Schwartz and Brooks Goins. His Grandparents who adored him, Delories and Donald Goins Sr.; Bill Joe & Irene Woodruff. Loving Aunts, Jill Simmons, Nanci Jo Goad (Smith) and Donna Briles (John). Great Uncles, Wayne Goins, Roger (Elaine Riddle) Cousins, Yancey, Hannah, and Viola Simmons, Sierra Simmons Flynn (Tyler), Joy (David) Lee, Susan Goins, Maggie (Josh) McColl and Austin Riddle. A special Mother in Law, Michele Tuttle (Tony), brother in law, Lonnie “Dude” Tuttle Jr. and wife, Jennifer. Father In Law, Lonnie “Rick” Tuttle Sr. (Sharon). Other family members of Don’s wife, Ashley, that loved him include: “Papa” Dwight and the late “Nanny" Elizabeth Tuttle, April Tuttle, and the late Lajuana “Penny" Marshall. Loved ones waiting for him in Heaven are Grandmother Nancy Woodruff; Great Grandparents Lelia and Buck Riddle, Lois and Grover Goins, a sister, Candace Goins. Don had many friends along his path as well as a church family at Triad Baptist Church in Kernersville NC. He worked alongside his Dad with PD Quik Septic Service for several years. A celebration of life will be Friday, March 25th, Camp Cheerio Outdoor Chapel, 1430 Camp Cheerio Road, Glade Valley, NC 28627, at 1pm. “Grief is the last act of love we have to give those we loved.
