Donald Carter Marrs

Mr. Donald Carter Marrs, 56, of 645 Clyde Hayes Road, Lowgap, NC, passed away Tuesday, August 19, 2008, at his home. Mr. Marrs was born October 10, 1951, in Cleveland, OH, to Buddy Dorton Marrs and the late Doris Petry Kocsis. He served our country in the United States Air Force during the Vietnam War. Survivors include his wife, Ambra Bradley Marrs of the home; two daughters, Royce Ann Lomax of Washington and Erin Christine Kocsis of Cleveland, OH; a son, Joseph G. Kocsis of Cleveland, OH; six grandchildren, Thomas Kocsis, Elizabeth Kocsis, Nicholas Kocsis, Natalie Ferguson, Nathan Ferguson, and Jocelyn Stowers; his father, Buddy Dorton Marrs; three sisters, Eva Martin, Mary Cebe, and Barbara; four brothers, Paul Martin, Paul Krause, Frank, and Michael; and several nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held at a later date.
