Donald Clayton Snow

Mr. Donald Clayton Snow, 72, of 109 Christopher Lane, Mount Airy, passed away Thursday, July 16, 2009, at his home. Mr. Snow was born May 3, 1937, in Surry County, son of the late Harley Clayton and Alice Nora Golding Snow. Surviving are a daughter, Theresa Snow of the home; four sons and daughters-in-law, Jerry and Deborah Snow, Jamey and Amy Snow, and Johnny and Misty Snow, all of Mount Airy, and Jimmy and Carol Snow of Lowgap; ten grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; a sister, Pearlie Mae Snow of Lowgap; and two brothers and sisters-in-law, Marvin and Lynn Snow of Lowgap and Andy and Cathy Snow of Cana. In addition to his parents, Mr. Snow was preceded in death by a brother, Wilson Snow. The funeral service will be held Saturday, July 18, 2009, at 11:00 AM at Moody Funeral Home Chapel in Mount Airy, with Brother Don Collins, the Rev. Woody Flippen, and the Rev. Doug Cockerham officiating. Burial will follow in the Zion Hill Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends at Moody Funeral Home on Saturday from 9:30 until the time for the service.
