Donna Nester Hylton

Donna Robin Nester Hylton of Bassett, Virginia left her earthly home on September 25, 2024, after an extended stay at Blue Ridge Therapy Connection. Born on September 20, 1958, she was the daughter of the late Eugene and Bessie Nester. She was a member of Salem Church in Patrick Springs, VA. 

Surviving are her twin sons, Christopher Eugene Hylton and Joseph Guy Hylton of Bassett, VA; one sister, Genia Walker (Wilbur) of Stuart; one niece, Amy Walker of Critz, VA; one nephew, Stephen Walker of Stuart, VA and one great-nephew, Clay whom she loved dearly. Also surviving are special cousins, Brenda Tuggle of Bassett, VA with whom she made her home, David Tuggle of Rocky Mount, VA, and Butch Carter (Anna) of Thomasville, NC. Donna is also survived by numerous cousins with whom she grew up with and had a long and loving relationship. Many beach trips, cookouts, family reunions, and holidays were celebrated together.

Moody Funeral Home is serving the family and a memorial service will be held in the near future at Salem Church. The family requests that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to Clover Cat Rescue, P.O. Box 829, Stuart, VA 24171.
