Donna Murphy Scott

       Mrs. Donna Murphy Scott, age 56 of Stuart, passed away Monday, January 22, 2024, at her home.  She was born in Martinsville on October 1, 1967.  She was preceded in death by her parents, Bill Lewis and Virginia “Jinks” Murphy.  Donna attended Temple Baptist Church.  She enjoyed trips to the mountains and the beach and loved spoiling her grandbabies.

       Surviving is her husband, Mike Scott of the home; two daughters and sons-in-law, Amber and Chad Pilson of Bassett, Whitney and Cody Spence of Ridgeway; two grandchildren, Meredith Pilson, Brantley Spence; two sisters, Debra Tatum of Critz, Sharon Kodenski of Pilot Mountain, NC; special friend, Kathy Kisamore of Stuart; and several nieces and nephews.

       A visitation will be held Wednesday, January 24, 2024, at Moody Funeral Home in Stuart from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM.  All other services will be private.  Flowers will be accepted, or memorials may be sent to Mountain Valley Hospice, 240 Commonwealth Blvd, Unit 602B, Martinsville, VA 24112.  Online condolences may be sent to www.moodyfuneralservices.com.
